Done@Scampia

The Città Nuova ETS Foundation has launched an innovative project in Scampia.

From one of the first IeFP training courses, that of Garment Worker, which featured 13 young girls between the ages of 18 and 24, who had returned to training after previously dropping out of school, an idea for entrepreneurial development took shape, born precisely from their creativity.

Thus was born, inside a building confiscated from organized crime, located in Via Roma towards Scampia 110 in Naples, the Social Tailoring “done@scampia

Fatto@scampia is a brand with a mission of sharing, respect for the environment and personal and professional development through fashion, used as a tool for inclusion and social change.

Tailoring, enhances and weaves together stories of redemption and legality and conveys the idea of a completely made in Scampia. Shoppers are made in various patterns and customizable with prints or embroidery, bags, purses, cell phone cases, and garments made from patterns created by the girls themselves.

But there's more! In addition to creating unique garments, the tailoring shop offers internship opportunities to support young people in choosing a different educational and career path.

Another brand that social tailoring has given birth to is. TECUMA (Head Heart Hands), designed by young people for young people with street style, a testimony of possible redemption.

Courageous and determined young women, at risk of social marginalization, have thus decided to rewrite their own future by starting over as students until they become professionals thanks to this very project, Countering lawlessness with style.

A fashion with a big heart!

I would choose this school a thousand more times and invite all the kids, they teach you how to live and relate to people in another way, they make you travel, they teach you many things and help you integrate into the work environment. I am very happy and thank you that you put your heart into it.
